The Chinese database is a crucial part of the partnership project. Since the project Kick-off Meetings on August 6-10, 2007, we have been working hard to select local companies suitable for cooperation with European companies.
The Taiyuan Municipal Economic Commission has implemented an extensive promotional campaign with the assistance of UNIDO ITPO-China. Chinese companies in the Shanxi Region have been informed about the program through our Kick-off Meeting press conference, information sessions organized with the assistance of local government organizations, follow up calls, our website and project related documents, and through a promotional tour around the region.
Once a company in the Shanxi Region applies to our project, the organizing team in Taiyuan carefully reviews their application. If the Chinese company is deemed fit for cooperation, their information is translated into English and uploaded to our project website.
